OUR STORY
With a passion for design and the built environment, I bring to each project well over 30 years of diversified architectural experience. An extensive history of managing all aspects of the architectural process from site selection to building occupation allows my practice to avoid being one-dimensional and follows the goal to preclude over specialization in any one architectural project type. Common to each project, however, is my total commitment to effective communication, unparalleled service and dogged determination to provide the highest quality product possible for the client and user alike.
I have effectively and successfully completed a wide variety of projects by working closely with not only the client, but also with other design team consultants and contractors alike. I take the team approach whenever possible and strive to incorporate the needs and goals of the client into a comprehensive design solution of their ultimate objective. This goal is fundamental to my mission.
OUR SERVICES
I provide design and planning services for retail, industrial and commercial facilities. Medical and professional office suites as well as single family residences round out our broad and varied experience. Professional services have been provided for new ground up buildings, including major renovation and building addition project types alike with each providing their distinctive challenges.
I also have extensive experience in assisting with due diligence support by preparing initial site plan studies and a comprehensive planning/zoning code review to aid the client in determining project feasibility before making a major decision to move forward. An investment of a small fee up front has saved clients from a loss of a major investment in a property that may not serve their needs.

I have always recognized that success is based on a foundation of solid business relationships fostered by repeat clients. Throughout my career, both as a sole practitioner or as a corporate architect, I have been very successful in accomplishing this goal for one reason.....competent service predicated on a pragmatic approach to architecture.
I believe that great design requires great communication with a willingness to explore ideas that may seem on the surface to be out in left field. The potential for an out of the blue comment to solve a complex problem can arise from a simple exchange of thoughts. Each design opportunity is treated as a unique problem with their own special requirements and priorities without losing sight of the practical aspects. I draw on my entire range of experience in providing alternative perspectives to arrive at innovative, realistic and responsive design solutions. Each and every project is approached with this same commitment to quality.
OUR PROCESS
All of my successful projects have one thing in common, a proven management style that encourages, prods and at times, demands that the client take an active roll in the entire process. Our greatest success stories have always involved an energetic and dedicated individual or committee that has a vested interest in the final design. During the course of the project, many decisions and compromises will need to be made. I believe that if the client has been involved, these decisions can be based on knowledgeable reasoning rather than emotional reactions. Often overlooked, but of equal, if not at times more informative, are the absolute "don'ts" that we will always take into consideration during the design process.
